What we built
A digital partnership built around growth.
When we began working with Online Home Shop, the opportunity was already clear. The business had ambition, a strong product proposition and the appetite to move quickly. Our job was to make sure its digital capability could move just as quickly.
What followed wasn’t a single redesign, replatform or technology project. It became a long-term growth trajectory, continually evolving OHS’s eCommerce ecosystem as customer demand, traffic, order volumes and the wider business grew.
Today, Online Home Shop generates more than £100m in annual gross sales.

Building for what comes next.
Rapid growth changes the demands placed on an eCommerce business. More customers mean more traffic, more transactions, more data and greater pressure on every part of the technology stack. Infrastructure that works today can quickly become tomorrow’s constraint. Throughout our relationship with OHS, we’ve worked proactively rather than reactively, identifying potential bottlenecks and evolving the platform before they could become barriers to growth.
-
Infrastructure built to scale
We continually evolved OHS’s hosting and infrastructure as traffic and transaction volumes increased, creating the resilience needed to support increasingly ambitious growth.
-
Performance without compromise
Growth shouldn’t mean a slower customer experience. Continuous optimisation of Magento and the wider technology stack has helped the platform perform efficiently as demand has increased.
-
Ready for the biggest moments
Black Friday and other peak trading periods put enormous pressure on high-growth retailers. Capacity planning, optimisation and preparation helped OHS turn periods of exceptional demand into opportunities rather than infrastructure problems.
-
-
Growth isn’t just about handling more traffic.
Technical scale was only part of the challenge. As OHS attracted more customers, the experience itself needed to continually improve. Superb worked across UX, conversion and mobile to remove friction and make it easier for customers to discover, browse and buy. Rather than treating optimisation as a one-off exercise, we’ve continuously evolved the experience around changing customer behaviour and the needs of the business.Continually improving conversion
UX and conversion optimisation has remained an ongoing part of the partnership, identifying opportunities to simplify journeys, remove friction and turn increasing traffic into increasing revenue.
A genuinely mobile business
As customer behaviour shifted towards mobile, we extended the OHS experience beyond the website with dedicated iOS and Android applications, creating another important channel for customer engagement and growth.
Technology that works together
Behind the customer experience sits an increasingly sophisticated eCommerce ecosystem. We’ve helped integrate and evolve the systems OHS needs to operate effectively at scale.

From growth project to long-term partnership.
From growth project to long-term partnership.
Our relationship with OHS has always been about more than individual projects. It’s a long-term partnership built on trust, shared ambition and a commitment to continuous improvement. Together, we’ve evolved the platform to meet the changing needs of the business and its customers, and we’ll continue to do so as new opportunities emerge.
-
One connected digital ecosystem
Website, infrastructure, mobile applications and supporting technologies are considered as parts of the same customer and commercial experience.
-
Long-term thinking
Decisions are made around where the business is going, not simply the immediate technical requirement.
-
Continuous evolution
Infrastructure, performance, UX, integrations and applications continue to evolve alongside the business.

A digital partnership built around growth.
OHS reported more than £100 million in gross sales for the year ending January 2026, representing 68% year-on-year growth.
Operating profit increased from approximately £5 million to £15.3 million, with OHS identifying growth through its own website, increased customer acquisition and repeat purchasing among the factors behind its performance.
But the number only tells part of the story.
The achievement is building a digital operation capable of supporting that scale, while continuing to create the foundations for whatever comes next.
Digital should never be the thing holding growth back.
For more than five years, our work with Online Home Shop has been driven by a simple principle: technology should enable ambition, not constrain it.
As OHS has grown, we’ve continually looked ahead, preparing its infrastructure, platform and customer experience for the demands around the corner.
The result is a digital partnership that has evolved alongside an extraordinary British eCommerce growth story.
And we’re still building.
