Conceived as a creative concept by Emily Dyson and Ian Paley in 2008, Couverture and the Garbstore is currently a landmark in the Notting Hill neighbourhood, and it’s considered a hidden gem of London. The store stands out for its eclectic and modern selection of men’s and women’s clothing, including its own menswear brand, and household items that highlights the innovative and escape the ordinary. The store philosophy is clear and seeks to attract slow-fashion consumers. Emerging and independent designers find their home in the spaces of Couverture and Garbstore.
